Richard Musselman

DO

Essentially raised in a hospital by his single-parent Anesthesiologist father, Dr. Musselman began working in medicine at the age of 13 in a rural hospital in the Missouri Ozarks.  He attended medical school at ATSU College of Osteopathic Medicine and initially practiced Emergency Medicine and General Practice, adding certifications and fellowships in Family Practice, General Surgery and Geriatrics and has served on these certification boards as well.  He is a member of the American Association of Physician Specialists in addition to the American Academy of Family Physicians.   With over 50 years practicing medicine, Dr. Musselman brings with him to PRCMG a breadth of experience and a history of championing for his patients from rural to urban clinics and hospitals from Kansas to California (with many stops in between) and is fully fluent in Spanish. Now semi-retired, Dr. Musselman resides part time in Mexico where he and his wife run a scuba dive resort, commuting to California to continue to offer care to injured workers in the Redding and Sacramento areas.
